Summer nights in Batumi: the charm of spontaneous decisions

It turned out that the universe had completely different plans regarding my stay in Tbilisi. One spontaneous decision was enough for me to start preparing to go to Batumi with my friends for a few days. After all, is spontaneity an urban lifestyle? The excitement of last-minute changed plans and pleasant anticipation make life colorful and full of unexpected joy.

The journey from Tbilisi to Batumi started with a train adventure. Nostalgia brought me back to my childhood and relived the feelings that excited children going to the sea did not give us rest all the way. I remembered the joy of the not yet started one-month sea vacation and the already tired faces of my parents. Traveling by train has become the beginning of an adventure in itself - with companions equipped with the essentials for a few days' rest, urban-style bags, hats and sunglasses.

During the ride, my friend and I reminisced about our experiment. This time it was decided to invent stories about the companions according to the accessories. At the end of the carriage, a lady in a boho-style hat and oversized glasses must have been a writer looking for inspiration on the beach; A traveler with a vintage leather backpack and a collection of enamel pins attached to that backpack would be an adventurer with a rich travel history. Our speculations and bickering soon got the other passengers involved and now we were all sewing labels together which made the trip even more memorable and special.

 

In general, preparing for a spontaneous trip requires variety, but also practicality. Urban-style bags are a must for such trips—convenient and stylish at the same time. A backpack is essential for exploring the city streets, while relatively large duffel bags are ideal for a day at the beach. A hat is another necessary element that protects us from the sun and brings its character to any look, and of course sunglasses as an integral part of summer.

Batumi, with its stunning seaside views and breathtaking sunsets, seemed to be calling me. The mix of modern and traditional architecture adds a unique charm to this city, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of Tbilisi. Wandering the streets of Batumi, exploring the beaches and soaking up the lively nightlife filled me with gratitude for the spontaneous decision that brought me here. Every second is a new adventure and a new story. From watching the sun set below the horizon to dancing the night away at a beach bar, every experience was a reminder that living in the moment is beautiful.

This trip became a testament to the joy of the unexpected - when you realize that life can take you on an unplanned adventure at any moment.
